STAAR scores for your student are now available online for grades 3-8 and End of Course via the TEA Assessment Data Portal at: https://txparentportal.
You will also receive a paper report of your student's score in the mail as soon as we receive them.
To access your student's STAAR scores online, click the link above and then click "Lookup Access Code". You will need to enter your child's first name, PEIMS ID (Social Security Number) and date of birth. It will then pull up your child's access code, which will allow you to click "Go" and access your child's scores.
For 2017, STAAR scores are reported in 4 performance levels:
* Masters Grade Level — Mastery of the course knowledge and skills is shown – student is on-track for college and career readiness.
* Meets Grade Level — Strong knowledge of course content – student is prepared to progress to the next grade.
* Approaches Grade Level — Some knowledge of course content, but may be missing critical elements – student needs additional support in the coming year.
* Did not Meet Grade Level — No basic understanding of course expectations is shown – student may need significant support in the coming year.
For more details about your student's score, click on the title of the test and more specific information is available.
If you have any questions regarding your child's performance, feel free to email the campus principal and they will respond as soon as possible.
